Scrub a dub!
Scrub a dub! Scrubs are a great way to gently remove dead cells from the surface, revealing a fresh face! The trick with scrubs is to not be aggressive with them. Adding them into your cleanser is a sure fire way to keep it mellow. We tend to believe that the harder we scrub, the better the glow, which is definitely not the case. In fact, the more intense you go, you risk excessive inflammation which can cause severe irritation and sometimes permanent damage. Scrubs are great for those with normal, dry, combination skin types, but people with oily, acne, and/or sensitive skin, will find better results with chemical exfoliants. Use your scrubs 1-2x/week for the ultimate results.
