Why are acids better for acne than scrubs??

Why are acids better for acne than scrubs??

First off, when we use scrubs, our innate inituition is to scrub the hell out of anything we want to dissapear - the deep line in the center of our forehead, the pimple cluster in the forehead or the large pores in our cheeks. Scrubbing will only remove the upper layers of dead cell which is about the equivalent to the finer layer of dust that is on our tv screen before we get annoyed enough and wipe it clean. It will never erase our issues by scrubbing harder, it will only exasperate it and make it worse. For acne in particular, too much aggressive scrubbing (even facial massage movements) can activate the sebaceous glands to produce more oils, spread bacteria from one area to another, or cause so much inflammation that you get more angry clusters. Salicylic acid cutsthrough the oils the best, helps to kill bacteria and dissolve the dead skin which is why this is found in many acne treatments as the best ingredient.
